Qualifications of the Director include:

·      Proficient at playing the piano or organ.

·      Availability to prepare and play for all choir rehearsals and worship services.

·      Ability to utilize monthly scriptures and the Music Catalog/Hymn Book to prepare the monthly music calendar and forward the list of songs to the Pastor and Church Secretary following the weekly choir rehearsal. 

·      Availability to prepare and accompany the Church to any special events on the Church Calendar.

·      A Passion for Worship and Music Ministry that is centered on the Word of God.

·      Should be well organized with excellent communications skills and a high standard of worshipful excellence.

·      The ability to teach parts.

·      A knowledge of the Hymns of the Church such that the Music rendered is: To Him, For Him and About Him

·      The ability to assist the Pastor/ Worship Leader in fulfilling the Church's Music Vision to ensure that appropriate music is provided for all Sunday Worship services and programs.

·      The ability to work Collaboratively with all Church Ministries.

The position of Music Director is a part-time position.  Employment is contingent on a successful background check.
